Bucket list #17. Who would have known it was going to turn in to this? Said best by Jaime, “ I want to leave behind happy memories and ignite sparks within the people I love to seize the day, dream big, do what you love . Don’t wait til you are 80 years old to start living out your dreams! ” Well here we go dreaming big...

To know her was to love her. She was a larger than life person and made a friend everywhere she went. Starting a charity or foundation for families impacted by a parent with a terminal illness was on that list. Our sweet Jaime passed away June 30, 2017. She was unable to fulfill this bucket list item. So that is where we step in.

About 6 months after Jaime passed, we decided that we were being called to start a foundation that took families impacted by a terminal illness on a mountain retreat. After all, Jaime loved the mountains. It gave her a chance to get away from everyday life. It gave her a chance to make some memories with the kids and with family. It gave her a chance to breathe (and eat a few marshmallows).

The mountains have always had a special place in our hearts. Now even more so. We can’t wait to help other families make lasting memories!
